2019 March 1st – Fair Trade Fortnight, Veronica Brown Sidmouth College March 1, 2019 Pupils sampled banana bread, bananas and made bracelets from Bananas leaves and heard about growing bananas, life and tourism on the Island as well as stressing the importance to them of the Fairtrade Premium and the good conditions of work that being Fairtrade ensures.
2019 March 1st – Fair Trade Fortnight, Veronica Brown Sidmouth College March 1, 2019 Veronica Browns came to Sidmouth College where she helped lead a well planned presentation on St Vincent’s Banana growing with activities for Year 7 pupils and about 20 pupils from The nearby Primary School.
